Vishal–Shekhar are a music coordinating team comprising of Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani who have worked in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Marathi movies. Their outstanding works incorporate Jhankaar Beats (2003), Dus (2005), Bluffmaster (2005), I See You (2006), Om Shanti Om (2007), Bachna Ae Haseeno (2008), Dostana (2008), Anjaana Anjaani (2010), Ra.One (2011), Student of the Year (2012),Chennai Express (2013), Bang! (2014) and Happy New Year (2014).
The team rose to noticeable quality when they formed the score for the film Jhankaar Beats which incorporated the tune "Tu Aashiqui Hai". They won the Filmfare RD Burman Award for New Music Talent for Jhankaar Beats. The music for the film Musafir joined techno music with Indian sounds. The score included "Saaki" and "Entryway Se Paas". In 2005 they made the scores for three movies: Salaam Namaste, Dus and Bluffmaster.
Vishal Dadlani is additionally the vocalist of Mumbai-based electronic band Pentagram. He teamed up with Imogen Heap on the melody "Minds Without Fear" for a scene of The Dewarists.
Shekhar Ravjiani is a prepared established vocalist (under Ustad Niaz Ahmed Khan). He figured out how to play the accordion from his dad, a music fan, Hasmukh Ravjiani.
