C R Subburaman
C R Subburaman (also known as C S Ram) was born on 1924 in Thirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, India. He worked as music director and film producer. He was active between the years 1943 and 1952 mostly in Tamil and Telugu film industry. He knows to play keyboard, harmonium and piano.
He started playing harmonium at the age of 14. At the age of 16, Subburaman joined HMV - which is a gramophone production and distribution company. HMV was started by R Chinnaiah.
He got chance in M K Thyagaraja Bhagavathar's (MKT) film "Uthayanan" in 1945. Later he went on to compose music to many movies like Paithiyakkaran, Balaraju, Raja Mukthi, Rathnakumar, Laila Majnu and many more.
Subburaman stated his own production house named Vinoda Pictures. He produced movies like Strisahasam, Santhi and Devadasu.
He died at the age of 28 in 1952 at his Chennai residency, Tamil Nadu, India.
