Amit Trivedi is an Indian film author, performer, vocalist and lyricist, working in Bollywood. Subsequent to acting as a theater and jingle arranger and making for non-film collections, he appeared as a film writer in the 2008 Hindi film Aamir, and shot to distinction in the Hindi film music scene with his widely praised work in the more famous Dev.D (2009), which earned him a few honors, including the 2010 National Film Award for Best Music Direction for Dev.D.
Trivedi was conceived in Bandra, Mumbai in India. His local city is Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
In his more youthful days, an electronic musical instrument interested Trivedi and he was gradually drawn towards music, predominantly affected by established music. At 19–20, he started forming music. In school days joined the band Om, who performed at nearby gigs, little appears and live exhibitions.
