Veteran actor Vinodh Khanna passes away

Bollywood's Veteran actor Vinod Khanna died on Thursday.

Khanna, who was suffering from bladder carcinoma, inhaled his last breath at 11.20 am today. He was 70.

The veteran actor, who was MP of Bharatiya Janata Party for Lok Sabha from the Gurdaspur constituency in Punjab, was admitted to Sir H.N. Dependence Foundation Hospital and Research Center in Girgaon, Mumbai, as of late.

Vinod Khanna had featured in more than 100 movies over five decades. At the peak of his career, Khanna astonished his fans when he joined Osho Rajneesh ashram at his ashram in Pune in 1982. Be that as it may, he came back to silver screen in the late eighties, and pursued achievement again with movies, for example, "Insaaf" and "Satyameva Jayate". He was most recently seen in the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer "Dilwale" in 2015.

The actor, who begun off as a villain, went ahead to star as a hero in many movies including "Simple Apne", "Insaaf" and "Amar, Akbar, Anthony".

It is without a doubt a tragedy that a man who entertained a large number of us for about 4 decades has been battling with cancer in recent years. Vinod Khanna will clearly be missed. His amazing performance has left an indelible mark in our minds and hearts and such talents can never ever be replaced.
