Bahubali 2 becomes 1st Indian film to cross 1000 crore
Bahubali 2 has become the first Indian film to cross the Rs 1000 crore mark worldwide and it has managed to do so in just 10 days after its theatrical release. The previous highest grosser was Aamir Khan’s Dangal – which is running successfully in China and coincidentally crosses the 800 crore mark globally today.
Bahubali 2 had collected approximately Rs 840 crore gross worldwide in its first week, which has touched close to 960-970 crore at the end of Saturday (Day 9). The film has / will cross the 1000 crore mark today.
S.S. Rajamouli has also taken the crown from Rajkumar Hirani as the biggest and most successful director in the country today.
